Warranty Coverage

Thoroughbred Floats provides a two-year structural warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers:

• Chassis

• Body frame

• Roof frame

• Suspension

This ensures your float is protected against any potential manufacturing defects that may affect structural integrity or safety.

Customer Responsibilities

To maintain your warranty coverage, the owner must:

• Operate and maintain the float safely and appropriately.

• Notify an authorised Thoroughbred Floats representative of any apparent defect within 10 days of discovery. Photos of the issue should accompany the claim for inspection.

• Service the float at least once every 12 months by a qualified, reputable mechanic.

Failure to service your horse float every 12 months will void the warranty. Regular servicing helps ensure the float remains roadworthy and safe, preventing issues that can arise from neglect or inadequate maintenance.

If any of the above terms are not met, the warranty will be considered void. Thoroughbred Floats reserves the right to determine what constitutes “neglect.”

General Exclusions

This warranty does not cover failures or damage resulting from:

• Inadequate servicing or maintenance (proof of service may be required).

• Abnormal strain, misuse, neglect, or abuse.

• Accidents or collision damage.

• Installation of non-genuine parts or accessories.

• Fading, rust, or deterioration due to environmental exposure or normal wear and tear.

• Modifications or alterations affecting the float’s structure, operation, or durability.

• Damage caused by incorrect transport.

• Acts of nature (e.g. lightning, hail, flood, fire, etc.).
